Steps of designing a power network for a projects
The
design process include the following:-
1- Load study.
2- Selection
of transformer rating which will be sufficient to meet the factory electrical
power needs.
3- Selection of power cables.
4- Choosing
a suitable cable laying method.
5- Selection
of medium voltage circuit breaker (SF6 or Vacuum).
6- Location
of each transformer which Introduces minimum power losses and more reliability
for the load.
7- Performing
a good coordination which introduces the required selectivity, sensitivity more
reliability and speed of disconnecting.
8- How to
select another equipments as:-
a. ATS
(Automatic transfer switch).
b. MDB (Main
Distribution Board).
c. Bus bars.
9- Selection
of good lamp and luminaries for a good illumination system design.
10-Design a
good earthlings system.
11- Power factor correction
